When my 2-year-old nephew needed glasses, I got to work making a monkey for him--with glasses. (I couldn't leave out his brother, so he got one of his own.)


I'm pretty sure Colin likes it. He named him Elvis, and set him in a window so Elvis can watch him play outside.


Everybody could use a doll who looks like they do. Sometimes crochet is more than just crochet--it fills hearts--his AND mine! 

The pattern is my own "Cheeky Monkey" done in Lion Brand Jeans yarn, in colors classic and faded, with top stitch for the scarf. Make a stuffed animal for a child--or a grown-up--in your life, and bask in the joy.
